Privacy notice

This notice explains how Frienship uses information for the controlled alpha. We collect only what is needed to operate the invitation, account, package, traveller, booking, and safety workflows.

Information we use

This may include your account and contact details, profile choices, trip details, package declarations, recipient details, booking activity, support reports, and security records. If identity review is required, the requested identity document and selfie are handled as restricted information and are used only for identity and safety review.

Why we use it

We use information to invite and authenticate participants, operate the requested workflows, check package and travel eligibility, protect participants, investigate safety or fraud concerns, answer support requests, and keep an accountable record of important actions. Any future optional marketing or research use requires a separate choice.

Sharing and access

We share the minimum information needed with approved service providers that host or support the service, and with authorised people who need it for safety, support, or an agreed participant action. We do not put identity documents, recipient addresses, package details, or authentication secrets into public pages or ordinary analytics.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as the alpha, safety, legal, accounting, or dispute purpose requires. Identity evidence is kept for the approved alpha retention period and then deleted unless a documented legal hold applies. We use access controls, secure authentication, private storage, and audit records, but no online service is risk-free.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your information, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Contact the support or privacy address supplied with your invitation. We may need to verify your identity and protect another person’s information before responding.

International processing and changes

Approved hosting and service providers may process information in more than one country. The current alpha notice and provider safeguards govern that processing. We will publish a new notice and request a fresh acknowledgement when a material change affects your rights or the purposes of processing.
